Tibetan Sound Healing Ceremony

Tibetan instruments and prayers will deeply imbue you with the resonant medicine of Tibetan healing sounds in a prayerful ceremony. Lama Lobsang creates a beautiful Tibetan Buddhist altar with traditional offerings. Breathing exercises work wake the energy of your body. The ancient sounds of chakra mantras and five-element mantras expand your consciousness and increase awareness. The medicine Buddha mantra generates healing, and other mantras are recited for protection, purification, and peace. A period of silent meditation induces deep relaxation. Experience vibrational healing with mantras, singing bowls, drums, bells, gongs, cymbals, horns, tingshas, damaru, and conch shells. A 21-Tara long life prayer and dedication of merit concludes the ceremony. This workshop is perfect for healing professionals as well as Tibetan Buddhist practitioners. Bring your own instruments to be blessed in this ceremony, and a blanket for your comfort.

TIBETAN BUDDHIST MEDITATION
Weekly Meditation Class – Tuesdays, 9:00-10 :00 AM
Join Lama Lobsang Palden for one hour of meditation on Tuesdays, beginning promptly at 9:00 am. The only prerequisite for this practice is a sincere Dharma aspiration. Bring a mala if you have one. Cushions are provided. Practices will vary. Upcoming cancellations: January 26, March 2 & 30, April 13 & 27, and May 4, 2010.
